I just got confirmation for an interview on Friday for the company Notch, which is a sensor that you can attach to your clothes at specific points to capture your body's movement data in 3D.
I've also reached out to LifeLogger, which is similar to Google glass but has a unique video format, allowing multi-tag search based on custom user defined tags and metadata generated by the built-in GPS, inertial system and compass, and I reached out to Mophie because they have a new case coming out to expand the memory of the iPhone. (While this may not seem like emerging, for the capability to expand memory through the charge port, which is where a Mophie case would attach, this is pretty amazing - also considering the fact that iPhones are infamous for "whatever memory you choose is what you get."
No luck on responses from the people from CNET, but I'm going to try to call again tomorrow in the morning to see if I can catch someone on the numbers I was given.
I'm still searching and reaching out, but I wanted to give an update since we had a snow day!
ALSO FOR MAGGIE:
Check out the company Dacor. They have an android based piece to add to ovens to control them with your phone!
